Position: Developer (Part time)
Project title: mHealth informed consent
Department: Department of Emergency Medicine, Yale School of Medicine
Duties:
Opportunity to work on developing a web-based application for a project funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality to prototype a new electronic health record interface that aims to improve patient’s safety. With limited supervision and oversight, assist Department of Emergency Medicine faculty with:
- Programming of the tool likely using Microsoft Visual Studio. Prior knowledge of Visual Studio is necessary.
- Attend & contribute appropriately to all investigative team meetings
- Option to continue work through the 2018 academic year
Skills & Abilities:
- Must have object-oriented programming experience. Must be proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio and/or with C#, NETMVC JavaScript, CSS, XHTML, XML, SQL Server database design and T-SQL Server.
- Ability to work and contribute positively to the team
- Highly self-motivated, independent, reliable, competent, and committed to the goal of completing all goals and tasks
- Extremely organized and detailed-oriented
