Bing Wang selected as a 2016 Women of Innovation honorees by the Connecticut Technology Council.

The CSE department is happy to announce that Prof. Bing Wang has been selected as one of the 2016 Women of Innovation honorees by the Connecticut Technology Council. The selection was made by a panel of judges from over 200 nominees. The Women of Innovation® Awards recognizes women accomplished in science, technology, engineering and math and those who are involved in volunteer efforts in their community. Professor Wang is honored in the category of “Research Innovation and Leadership.”  Her research interests include computer networks,  distributed systems and ubiquitous computing. She has been awarded several National Science Foundation grants including the prestigious CAREER award. She currently teaches CSE4707/5850 Data and Information Security and supervises two Senior Design teams.
