Professor Reda Ammar has been selected as the chairman of the steering committee for the EMC Project Competition, a part of the EMC Academic Alliance in the Middle East and Africa for 2015-2016.
The objective of this design contest is to strengthen EMC’s relationship with the top universities in the region, in addition to creating more visibility and branding for EMC in the educational sector. Other goals are to increase the students’ and institutions’ awareness of EMC technologies, encourage the students’ hands on experience on EMC technologies, and greatly impact the graduates hiring process.
Reda was also recently awarded an IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) Life Membership that honors the most active and engaged volunteers. The contributions of IEEE Life Members are a key to continued success and preservation of the organization for generations to come. Congratulations Reda!
